In August 1757, Soubise's French army marched in 17 different columns towards Erfurt and Eisenach.

Commander-in-Chief: Charles de Rohan, Prince de Soubise

Summary: 31 bns (21,275 men), 22 sqns (3,480 men), 830 artillerymen, miners and workers for a total of 25,585 men

Note although not mentioned, the following units were also part of Soubise’s Army (probably in the 16th column)

  • Miner Company of Boisgnerelle (1 coy)
  • Worker Company of M. de Dugué (1 coy)
