Description

From July 10, 1759, Frederick II and his main army were encamped in an entrenched camp close to the village of Schmottseiffen (present-day Pławna Dolna/PL) near Liebenthal (present-day Lubomierz/PL).

N.B.: this order of battle excludes Fouqué’s Army in Lower Silesia and all garrisons.

Summary: 42 bns, 86 sqns and 143 heavy artillery pieces for a total of approx. 43,400 men and 1,400 artillerymen.

Detachments

Grenadier Battalion 12/39 Pieverlingk (1 bn) to cover the field-bakery at Kauffung (present-day Wojcieszów/PL), 14,5 km to the northeast of Hirschberg (present-day Jelenia Góra/PL)
