Summary

Meskwaki Warrior Pam-a-hó, The Swimmer, George Catlin, 1832. The painting shows a Fox warrior from about 75 years after the Seven Years’ War but retains a similar appearance from a man of that time although the necklaces appear to include long tubes that were not available at that time. Short wampum or imitation wampum would have been used.
