<small>You are here: [[Main Page]] &gt;&gt; [[Akropolis Surroundings]] &gt;&gt; {{PAGENAME}}</small> ==Description== According to Apollodoros, the epithet ''Pandemos'' (all the people) associated with this shrine of Aphrodite comes from its location on the '''Old''' Agora of Athens where the assemblies took place before the creation of the Agora of the Kerameikos at the beginning of the 6^th century BC. The shrine of Aphrodite Pandemos was probably located at the foot of the southwest bastion near the [[Monumental Access Ramp|monumental ramp]] giving access to the [[Akropolis]].
