Origin and History
This Italian regiment was raised on 20 May 1705 by N. Beltrambi.
During the War of the Spanish Succession, the regiment was commanded by:
- from 20 May 1705 to 9 October 1706: N. Beltrambi
The regiment was disbanded on 9 October 1706.
Service during the War
In May 1706, during the Siege of Turin, La Feuillade built a depot at the Castle of Lucento and placed the regiment as garrison of the castle.
The regiment was disbanded on 9 October 1706, less than a month after the disastrous Battle of Turin.
