Origin and History
The regiment was raised on 4 February 1706 by N. de Bourdonné.
During the War of the Spanish Succession, the regiment was commanded by:
- from 4 February 1706: N. de Bourdonné
- from 1707: N. de Champigny
- from 1712 to 1714: N. de Castelneau
The regiment was disbanded in 1714.
Service during the War
From 1706 to 1710, the regiment served in the Alps.
In 1710, the regiment was sent to Catalonia.
In 1711, the regiment returned to Dauphiné.
