Origin and History
The regiment was raised on 22 March 1702 by N. de Brancas.
During the War of the Spanish Succession, the regiment was commanded by
- from 22 March 1702: N. de Brancas
- from 13 July 1709: Marie-Joseph de Brancas, Marquis d’Oyse
- from 7 September 1711 to 1715: N. de Labadie
The regiment was disbanded in 1715.
Service during the War
In 1702, the regiment joined the Army of Flanders.
In 1706, the regiment was transferred to the Moselle.
In 1712 or 1713, the regiment was transferred to Roussillon.
In 1714, the regiment took part in the Siege of Barcelona.
