Origin and History
The regiment was raised on 4 February 1706 by N. de Conflans.
During the War of the Spanish Succession, the regiment was commanded by:
- from 4 February 1706: N. de Conflans
- from 1709: N. Comte de Laval
- from 1712 to May 1713: N. de Ruys
The regiment was disbanded in May 1713.
Service during the War
From 1706, the regiment garrisoned various places in Flanders.
