Origin and History
The regiment was raised on 2 February 1706 by Adrien Maurice, Duc de Noailles.
During the War of the Spanish Succession, the regiment was commanded by:
- from 2 February 1706: Adrien Maurice, Duc de Noailles
- from 1713 to 18 March 1714: N. de La Baume
The regiment was disbanded on 18 March 1714.
Service during the War
In 1706, the regiment joined the Army of Roussillon.
