Origin and History

The regiment was raised on 14 May 1702 by N. de Lannoy.

During the War of the Spanish Succession, the regiment was commanded by

  • from 14 May 1702: N. de Lannoy
  • from 1710 to 1714: N. du Soupa

The regiment was disbanded in 1714.

Service during the War

In 1702, the regiment joined the Army of the Rhine.

In 1704, the regiment was sent to Spain.

In April 1706, the regiment took part in the Siege of Barcelona.

In 1708, the regiment was transferred to the Army of Flanders.
