Origin and History
This Piedmontese regiment was created on 1 June 1704 by Jean Baptiste d'Urre Brotin, Marquis de Montanègre with militia from Monferrato.
During the War of the Spanish Succession, the regiment was commanded by:
- from 1 June 1704 to March 1705: Jean Baptiste d'Urre Brotin, Marquis de Montanègre
The regiment was disbanded in March 1705.
