Origin and History

The regiment was raised on 3 December 1702 by N. de Pisançon.

During the War of the Spanish Succession, the regiment was commanded by:

  • from 3 December 1702: N. de Pisançon
  • from 1707 to 1714: N. de Lesquen de La Villemeneust

The regiment was disbanded in 1714.

Service during the War

From 1703 to 1706, the regiment served with the Army of Italy.

From 1707 to the end of the war, the regiment served in the Alps.
