Origin and History

The regiment was raised on 8 October 1702 by N. de Rozières.

During the War of the Spanish Succession, the regiment was commanded by:

  • from 8 October 1702: N. de Rozières
  • from 1707: N. de Chevron
  • from 1712 to 15 December 1713: N. de Bonnières

The regiment was disbanded on 15 December 1713.

Service during the War

In 1703, the regiment served with the Army of Flanders.

It was later transferred to the Lines of the Lauter.
