Origin and History
This Savoyard regiment was created on 7 March 1704 by René de Froulay, Comte de Tessé with Savoyard militia.
During the War of the Spanish Succession, the regiment was commanded by:
- from 7 March 1704 to 25 January 1705: René de Froulay, Comte de Tessé
The regiment was disbanded on 25 January 1705.
Service during the War
In 1704, the regiment served with the Army of the Alps.
On 25 January 1705, the regiment was disbanded.
