Origin and History
The regiment was raised on 10 December 1702 by N. de Vaudreuil.
During the War of the Spanish Succession, the regiment was commanded by:
- from 10 December 1702: N. de Vaudreuil
- from 11 February 1706: Henri-Antoine-Thomas, Chevalier de Brancas de Courbon
- from 29 November 1710 to 13 December 1713: N. Marquis de Lostanges-Béduer
The regiment was disbanded on 13 December 1713.
Service during the War
In 1703, the regiment served with the Army of Flanders.
